General Conditions of use – Website and Proposed Services

1.    Definitions

General Terms of Use (GTU): Refers to the present contractual document governing the terms of use and interaction between Paris et Compagnie, Owner of the Site and its Users. 

Recipient: Refers to the meaning under GDPR legislation, i.e. the individual or corporation, the public authority, the department or any other organization that receives communication of personal data, whether or not it is a third party. 

Personal Data: Refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual and collected under the Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data, namely the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (known as "GDPR") and the Data Protection Act in its amended version No. 2018-493 of 20 June 2018. 

Data Subject: Refers to the End User whose Personal Data may be collected, in this case the Website User. 

Provider: Any natural or legal person who offers specific Services to another organization, in this case the companies Mademoiselle Associée and Proximum.

6.    Hypertext links and Cookies

However, Paris et Compagnie cannot check the content of the sites visited and therefore declines any responsibility for the possible risks of illicit content.

In this respect, the association Paris et Compagnie, the Data Controller undertake to process Users' Personal Data for the sole purpose of the Services offered by the parisandco.com Website. Users are informed whether or not they are required to provide certain information. Paris et Compagnie collects the following data in particular: surname, first name, email and company name, based on User consent, its contractual and pre-contractual obligations and its legitimate interest. 

This Data is hosted within the European Union and is not transferred to any third country. This data is also kept for the time strictly necessary for processing as defined by the law in force and within the framework of our legal obligations. 

Paris et Compagnie undertake to put in place all technical security and confidentiality measures necessary to protect this data and not to transmit the User's Personal Data to any third party, which undertakes not to process or collect any other personal data and not to transfer the Personal Data communicated to it. For any other exceptional transfer of data to a third party, the express agreement of the User will be required. 

In accordance with the aforementioned provisions in force, the User has the right of access to his/her Personal Data; the right to rectification; the right to be deleted; the right to limit the processing and the right to oppose the processing of his/her Personal Data. 8.    Applicable law and jurisdiction

These General Terms of Use are governed by French law. They must be interpreted in accordance with French law. 
In the event of a dispute in connection with the use of the parisandco.com Website, the User and the Owner of the parisandco.com Website agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Paris courts.
